As a pivotal 4F-class international aviation hub in Central China, Wuhan Tianhe International Airport posted impressive figures in 2025: 31.34 million passengers, 179,700 tonnes of cargo, and 219,500 aircraft movements. Marking its 30th anniversary, the airport has cumulatively served over 350 million passengers. Its network continues to expand with 210 routes, including 22 direct international and regional flights connecting 15 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. With 1.52 million international and regional passengers, it has solidified its top position among Central China's air ports for 12 consecutive years. As one of only six national pilots for the "Trunk-Feeder-Universal Connectivity" initiative, the airport facilitated 3.16 million transfer passengers in 2025.
